Bookbinding is an ancient art and began as a record keeping practice often using tablets or scrolls. It has been transformed through many cultures throughout the world into beautiful and playful forms that can be used for practical purposes or as an artform. In this class the artist will guide you through the process of creating 3 different book forms: a journal, a popup book and learn how to create a stab binding, a traditional East Asian bookbinding technique.

Class size: 8 maximum, 12+ years old.
