Our popular glass pumpkins are here in a variety of colors – now you can own a one-of-a-kind pumpkin that will last forever!
Joann Condino, owner of Three Pines Studio in Cross Village, created Great Lakes Glass Pumpkin Patch Day to showcase local artists. The 13th Annual Great Lakes Glass Pumpkin Patch event starts on Saturday, October 1st and runs through the end of the month.
Joann was inspired to create the pumpkin-themed art event after traveling to the Southwest a few years ago.
“I saw glass pumpkins that an artist friend had collected over the years from the Santa Fe area glass pumpkin patch. I fell in love with the idea. We have two terrific glass blowers right here so I decided to start the Great Lakes Glass Pumpkin Patch,” said Joann.
Glass Pumpkin Artists
Art-lovers can buy original blown glass pumpkins by Lynn Dinning and Harry Boyer at Three Pines Studio in Cross Village. These two glass-blowers continue to delight young and old with color, glass and their special whimsy.
When you visit Three Pines, you will see glass pumpkins everywhere – in the studio, on the porch, and in the garden.
Find the right pumpkin for your collection, from traditional orange to emerald green and lake blues to cranberry reds. There are big pumpkins, medium pumpkins, and small pumpkins, just like in a real pumpkin patch. Some have curly colored stems that make a pumpkin even more unique.
New this year: Pottery pumpkins by Lisa Hebb! These cute pumpkins are made from clay and have multiple layers of glaze for a unique color and shine.
