Description
Frida Kahlo Celebration Events
World-renowned artist Frida Kahlo was born on July 6th, 1907, in Coyocoán, Mexico, and began drawing at a young age. In 1925, she was nearly killed in a serious bus accident. She began painting during her recovery and went on to become one of Mexico’s, and the world’s, most beloved artists. Party activities throughout the week will celebrate Frida’s eclectic style. Paint a self-portrait, make a multimedia medallion / Milagros and jewelry. Fun for all ages. Young children must be accompanied by an adult.
